The standard we work to
We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA. Alberta does not require this of private sector websites, so this is a commitment rather than a compliance statement, and we would rather say what we are doing than claim a certification.
What we do
- Every image carries alternative text, or is marked decorative where it adds nothing.
- The site works from the keyboard alone, and focus is always visible.
- Colour is never the only way information is conveyed, and body text meets contrast requirements.
- Motion respects the reduced motion setting in your operating system.
Where we know we fall short
We keep a working list of accessibility gaps and fix them in order. If you hit one, telling us moves it up that list.
