Seven topics covering the whole platform, from your first listing to what to do when something is not working.
- Creating your account
- Join with your work email and the brokerage you sit under. Membership is free and there is nothing to enter beyond your name, your firm and the markets you cover.
- Getting verified
- Verification confirms you are licensed and working in the market. It usually clears the same working day. Until it does you can look around, but your listings will not appear in search.
- Setting up your profile
- Your profile is how the market finds you. Add a photograph, the submarkets you work and the asset classes you cover, because those are the fields other members search on.
- Posting your first listing
- A listing needs the address, the space, the rate and a contact. Everything else helps, but those four are what decide whether an agent shortlists you or scrolls past.
- Reading the morning numbers
- Active listings, tours booked this week and average days to lease sit across the top. They are your portfolio at a glance, not the market's, so they move when you move.
- The activity feed
- Everything that happened to your listings since you last looked: views, saves, tour requests and questions asked in the Pulse. Anything needing an answer is marked.
- Saved searches and alerts
- Save any search and it becomes an alert. New matching space reaches you the morning it lists rather than the week you next go looking.
- What a spotlight is
- A spotlight puts one listing, one building or one piece of news in front of the whole market for a set window. It is the tool for space you need moved rather than space that is ticking along.
- Choosing the photography
- Lead with the shot that answers a question: column spacing, the window line, where the core sits. A wide shot of an empty floor looks fine and tells an agent almost nothing.
- Setting the run window
- Shorter windows perform better than long ones. A fortnight with a clear reason to act beats a quarter of quiet presence.
- Reading the results
- Impressions matter least. Watch saves and tour requests, because those are the two that turn into a conversation.
- Complete your listings
- Incomplete listings do not get shortlisted, they get skipped. Clear height, doors, power, bay depth and a working rate turn a browse into a call.
- Answer the same day
- The market rewards whoever answers first. A question in the Pulse answered the day it is asked is worth more than a brochure.
- Batch your tours
- Two mornings of tours beats three weeks of scattered ones. Everyone sees the space while the others are still deciding, which is most of what urgency actually is.
- Keep availabilities dated
- An undated availability list makes an agent guess whether it is current. Most will not bother guessing.
- Property and map search
- Search by submarket, asset class, size and rate, or work straight off the map when the geography matters more than the filters.
- Building hubs
- Every building gets a page: dated availabilities, measurable floorplates and a named contact rather than a general inbox.
- The CRE Directory
- Movers, fit-out crews, lawyers and lenders, listed by the work they do and the deals they have closed with members.
- AskTDF
- Ask about a building, a submarket or a rate and get an answer from listings, the Pulse and the people on TDF rather than from the open web.
- Events and the CRE Tour
- Roundtables, socials and the touring season. Registration opens to verified members first.
- I cannot sign in
- Use the reset link on the sign in screen. If the email does not arrive within a few minutes it is almost always a spam filter at the brokerage rather than a problem with the account.
- My verification is taking a while
- Most clear the same working day. If yours has been longer than two, write to support with your brokerage name and it gets looked at directly.
- My listing is not appearing in search
- Listings appear once your account is verified and the listing has an address, a size and a rate. A missing rate is the usual culprit.
- Too many notifications
- Every alert can be set to instant, daily or off, per saved search. Nothing is all or nothing.
- What does membership cost
- Joining is free and stays free. Paid options live inside the platform, and nothing you have already posted moves behind them.
- Write to us
- Email support@cretourdeforce.com with what you were doing and what happened. Most questions come back the same working day.
- What to include
- The page you were on, the listing or building if there is one, and a screenshot if something looked wrong. It saves a round trip.
- Something urgent
- If a live listing or a spotlight is affected, say so in the subject line and it gets picked up first.
