Who can use the platform
Membership is intended for professionals working in commercial real estate. We verify that members are who they say they are and work where they say they work. We may decline or withdraw membership where verification fails or where these terms are broken.
You must be able to enter a binding agreement, and if you are using the platform for a firm you must be authorised to act for it.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it.
Your content, and what we may do with it
You keep ownership of everything you upload. We claim no ownership over your listings, your comps, your images or anything else you post.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service, and nothing more. The licence ends when you remove the content, except for copies retained in backups for a reasonable period.
You confirm you have the right to post what you post, including any photography, floorplans and third party information in it.
Accuracy of listings and market information
Members supply listings, comps and market information. We take reasonable steps to keep the platform useful, but we do not independently verify every figure, and we do not warrant that any listing, rate, area or comparable is accurate or current.
Nothing on the platform is brokerage, appraisal, legal, tax or investment advice. Do your own diligence before acting on anything you find here.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post anything false, misleading, unlawful, or that you do not have the right to post.
- Scrape, bulk download or resell platform data.
- Attempt to access accounts, systems or information you are not entitled to.
- Use the platform to send unsolicited commercial messages to other members.
- Misrepresent your identity, your firm or your authority to act.
Fees
Membership is free. Some features are paid, and their price and terms are shown before you buy them. Nothing you have already posted moves behind a paywall.
Our intellectual property
The platform, the software behind it, and the CRE TOUR DE FORCE name and marks belong to us. These terms do not grant you any right to use them beyond using the service as intended.
Availability
We aim to keep the platform running and will give reasonable notice of planned downtime where we can. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or withdraw features.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business, or loss arising from your reliance on member supplied information. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your membership
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where verification can no longer be maintained. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will do so.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Alberta have jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the change here and update the date at the top, and give notice of material changes before they take effect.
